1. What does it mean about Cassius’s plan that he has to mislead Brutus to make it happen?  

Brutus has always been a friend of Caesar’s so in order to convince Brutus he has to deceive him.  He knows that Brutus would never intentionally act dishonorably   Also, some part of him must think that he is doing wrong if he must lie to get people on his side.

2. What does it mean about Brutus that he so readily believes what Cassius says?  

Brutus believes that a man must be noble above all else. The fact that he is so quick to believe what Cassius tells him allows us to infer that he is rash in his actions, easily manipulated, very gullible and is easily convincible.  

3. What does it mean about Antony that Brutus refuses to kill him?  

Brutus knows that if he kills Antony the people will turn against them.  It could also show that Antony means something to Brutus or Brutus see value his life and the potential in not killing him.
