The correct answer is B; Made it possible for a single person to operate a loom.

Further Explanation:

Before the flying shuttle was invented the weaving process took two people to use the machine. This method was slower and didn't produce as fast as the flying shuttle could.

When John Kay invented this device, only one person had to use the weaver and this process also made the fabric to be wider. Since the fabric was wider, automatic looms could be used. This device was patented in 1733. His invention made it possible for the invention of other weaving products such as the spinning jenny and powered spinning machines.

describe the events that led up to the end of the cold war. how did the end of the cold war affect the united states' war in rol
TiliK225 [7]

possible things that contributed and led to the cold war would be the soviet union refusing to become part of the UN for a long time. Truman's dislike of Stalin. Stalin also felt that america and britain were delaying D-Day, causing more Soviet losses in a plot to weaken the Soviet army. Almost sixty times more Soviets died in the war than the Americans. There was american fear of communist attack. USSR's fear of the American's atomic bomb. USSR's dislike of capitalism, etc. the cold war affected the united states because the CW was the United States' preeminent international concern, directing all of the nation's major foreign policy decisions. The United States was guided generally by containment which was to keep communism from spreading, the containment applied to a world divided by the cold War, a struggle between the United States and the Soviet Union.

if America was never discovered, what would the Spanish do to find another way to get to India? Would the Native Americans unite
SVEN [57.7K]
This is an interesting question, but it supposes nations like Asia or Africa wouldn’t venture off to the Americas themselves (in which many native Americans have connections to Africans). If your question about another way to reach India not going west, then they’d go East, by land. I believe it was just to make it faster to travel by sea though and for more resources. Natives and Africans didn’t colonize (from my research) and if they did it wasn’t nearly as impactful or as cruel as Europeans had done.
