Direct Object Pronouns are used to replace a direct object, which is a noun.
Indirect Object Pronouns are used to tell to whom or for whom something is done. When both are used, there is an order that must be followed; The indirect object pronoun comes before the direct object pronoun.
When the indirect object pronoun le/les are used with direct object pronouns la/lo/las/los the pronoun SE is changed.
