He was best known for his 1836 death at the Alamo, he was also a writer, hunter and U.S. Congressman but his reputation as an adventurer made him a legend in his own time and led him to the alamo

Davy Crockett was a brave soldier. He originally came o Texas in hopes of renewing his political career. Davy Crockett really wanted to help fight for the independence of Texas during the Texas revolution.

The other areas to greatly impact Japan were the regions of Korea, which was the closest culture to Japan and therefore the main point of contact between Japan and Asia.
