Mars2501 [29]
The process of oil painting is using drying oil with pigment in order to create a picture. The person who is most commonly known as the inventor of the technique is Van Eyck. Linseed oil, poppy seed oil, walnut oil and safflower oil are the most commonly used oils for this technique. In the late 19th century societal changes fostered a new and multifaceted artistic approach that art historians called _________
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

The answer is A) Modernism

In the late 19th century societal changes fostered a new and multifaceted artistic approach that art historians called Modernism. They seek to capture the images and sensibilities of their age.

Explanation:

The modernist movement was based on the idea that the traditional forms of fine arts such as literature, design, social organization and everyday life had become outdated, and that it was essential to set them aside and create a new culture. This idea found support on the reexamining of every aspect of existence, from commerce to philosophy, to find what old marks would be and replace them with new, and possibly better, ways of progress.
