Pretoria University had blocked certain Fees Must Fall activists, who face criminal charges, from registering for the 2017 academic year unless they provided letters motivating why they should be accepted back at the institution, in assurance that the students would not be involved in further disruption in the academic year. The students may face difficulty in receiving scholarships as organizations may refuse to sponsor the particular University.
