Bison Encounter The last winter vacation that I spent with my Uncle Jake was the best I have had so far. In the mornings, my uncle and I would go sledding on the hills behind his house. "They must have escaped from Yellowstone National Park, which is close to this area," Uncle Jake whispered, not moving an inch. The herd was only a couple of yards away, and we had to come up with a way to get away fast. Perhaps, they had come looking for food, but they would not be too happy to realize the other animals had already finished the food that we had put out.
