According to classical conditioning, the conditioned stimulus is a stimulus that is associated with unconditioned stimulus, this is because a conditioned stimulus has been a previously neutral stimulus. After sometime the previously neutral stimulus becomes a conditioned stimulus which triggers the same response as that triggered by an unconditioned stimulus but this response will be conditioned response.
A real estate agent showed Gavin several pictures of lakeshore property while they were eating a delicious, mouth-watering meal. Due to this fact the property became a previously neutral stimulus which overtime became a conditioned stimulus that started to trigger the same effect as the delicious meal that he ate.
