Home Was a Horse Stall- At the farewell breakfast she prepared, Mrs. Perkins refused to allow Nee and Sox to help serve the meal
dlinn [17]

In this story, we learn about the experiences of the Kataoka family. They were one of the Japanese families that suffered through the experience of internment camps during World War II.

Before this experience, the Kataoka were renting land from Mrs. Perkins, who came to really value and appreciate them. When the Kataokas had to leave their home, Mrs. Perkins cooked for them and refused to let them help, as a sign of appreciation. Moreover, when she went to visit them at the camp, she helped them cover the damp, dirty floor and took a broken watch to have it repaired.

The genetic makeup of an individual play important role in determining the personality of the individual.

Though people have traits that are common to their personalities but there are certain traits that set out variation that cannot be eliminated. Social potency traits, traditionalism are examples of traits that can be common but traits like tree of achievement which can be stronger or weaker in an individual set out a distinct variation.

So no matter the influence of environmental factors which could be in form of training of individuals for a particular task, the genetic makeup of individuals still set out differences which cannot be bought but innately predominant.

Norma-Jean [14]
Abolitionists employed each of these techniques. The underground railroad was a system used to help slaves escape. Religion played a critical role in helping people realize the immorality of slavery and armed force was used in certain cases (occasionally resulting in even greater problems or backlash from slave owners).
