Feminists are those activists who try to achieve equal treatment and legal protection for women through socio-political, cultural and economic means. The three types of feminists are- the socialist/ Marxist feminists, the reformists feminists and the radical feminists.

The main issues that the third wave feminists are fighting for include- sexual liberation, reproductive rights, right for sexual pleasure and  rights  of transgender.
