What are millets? Why they called coarse grain? Give some examples of areas they are grown in.
joja [24]

Millets are cereal crops and small seed grasses, which are widely used in African and Asian countries. Since ages, these small crops were used for human consumption as well as a fodder for animals. Majorly cultivated in the semiarid tropical regions of Africa and Asia, around 97 percent of world’s overall millet production happens in these regions. These have often been called the coarse grains; however, due to their nutritional contributions, these are now being referred as 'nutria-millets/nutria-cereals'. Today, foxtail millet is grown primarily in eastern Asia. Proso millet is grown in the Soviet Union, mainland China, India and western Europe. In the United States, both millets are grown principally in the Dakotas, Colorado and Nebraska.

Answer:

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

These are the people I interviewed and what they say about taking risks.

Gentleman 1. "I did not like to take risks, but everything changed in 2006 when the company fired 40% of the employees in the marketing department. I was scared to death because I wasn't expecting that. Instead of looking for another job, my wife supported me and encouraged me to open my own business. I didn't want to but I have to, and that end up well."

I was about to leave the country, but one of my friends invite me to join her bakery shop for one week, while she hired an employee. I shared some recipes from my country's cuisine, and I decide to stay for one more week, the one more month...and here I am. Alone, but with a great business partnership with my friend."

Gentlemen 3.

"I had a normal life until I was able to accept a scholarship in Oxford. I was afraid. Never before leaving this country. My family and my friends are here. I was stubborn and decided to stay in Maryland when my English grandmother told me that this opportunity only presents once in a lifetime. That piece of advice mad me change my perspective and I took the scholarship. It was the best that could have happened to me. I got back from Oxford 6 years later with a beautiful wife and a kid."

What was unique about the french colonization of the americans
Molodets [167]

Answer:

The French colonization of the Americas began in the 17th century, and continued on into the following centuries as France established a colonial empire in the Western Hemisphere. France founded colonies in much of eastern North America, on a number of Caribbean islands, and in South America. Most colonies were developed to export products such as fish, rice, sugar, and furs.

As they colonized the New World, the French established forts and settlements that would become such cities as Quebec and Montreal in Canada; Detroit, Green Bay, St. Louis, Cape Girardeau, Mobile, Biloxi, Baton Rouge and New Orleans in the United States; and Port-au-Prince, Cap-Haïtien (founded as Cap-Français) in Haiti, Cayenne in French Guiana and São Luís (founded as Saint-Louis de Maragnan) in Brazil.
