Prove that:<br> 7^16+7^<br> 14 is divisible by 50.
alekssr [168]

Answer:

See Explanation

Answer: \boxed{ {7}^{14}} .50

Step-by-step explanation:

{7}^{16} +  {7}^{14}  \\  \\  =  {7}^{14} ( {7}^{2}  + 1) \\  \\  =  {7}^{14} (49 + 1) \\ \\  =   {7}^{14}.50

Since, one factor of {7}^{16}+ {7}^{14} is 50.

Therefore, {7}^{16}+ {7}^{14} is divisible by 50.

Hence proved.

simplify the following expression: (x − 8y) − (2x − 4y). if the final answer is written in the form ax by, what is the value of
Naddika [18.5K]
If you would like to simplify the expression (x - 8y) - (2x - 4y), you can do this using the following steps:

(x - 8y) - (2x - 4y) = x - 8y - 2x + 4y = -x - 4y

ax + by = -x - 4y
a = -1
b = -4

The value of b would be -4.

If you would like to simplify the expression (4x - 6) - (3x + 6), you can do this using the following steps:

(4x - 6) - (3x + 6) = 4x - 6 - 3x - 6 = x - 12

The correct result would be x - 12.

If p is true and q is false, the p q is ________ true.
Paraphin [41]
I would guess sometimes, but I'm not sure how something can be true and false at the same time. If something is both true and false it won't always be true and it won't never be true, so I'm guessing it's sometimes.

2)

37 + 5x = -2x - 33
</span>Pass the numbers with letter to the left and the numbers without letter to the right, changing the signal as they change sides.
<span>5x + 2x = - 33 - 37
7x = - 70
</span>x =  \frac{-70}{7}
\boxed{x = - 10}

3)

27 - 9x = -6x - 39
</span>Pass the numbers with letter to the left and the numbers without letter to the right, changing the signal as they change sides.
- 9x + 6x = - 39 - 27
- 3x = - 66 simplify by (-1)
3x = 66
x =  \frac{66}{3}
\boxed{x = 22}
