<span>he killed the guards after he had killed duncan
lady macbeth was sure at the time that "a little water clears us of this deed" but after killing duncan macbeth went into a state of shock and had brought the bloody daggers back with him. After refusing to go back there, lady macbeth went and smeared duncans blood on the guards hands and put t he bloddy dagges with them.

therefore in the morning, it appeared that the guards had comitted the murder.
Macbeth killed the guards, because it meant that they could not testify that they had not done it, and it was alot easier for people to blame the murder on the dead men, than if macbeth had not killed them and then in turn they may have suspected him.

I found this online but i hope this helps

To whom does johnny compare the southern gentleman in the book he and ponyboy are reading
Black_prince [1.1K]

Answer:

Johnny links Dally to the Southern gentlemen in terms of courage. Dally may not have the same manners as the Southern gentlemen's but johnny says that he is as brave. Dally begins to show this when he comes face to face with his own death at the end of the book. The earlier discussion of the Southern gentlemen, shown as riding fearlessly to their deaths in war, it also can be seen as a form of foreshadowing.

Hamlet: ... that’s the French bet against the Danish. Why is this ‘imponed,’ as you call it?
Goshia [24]
I believe the correct answer is a duel between Laertes and Hamlet.
Laertes had many reasons to want to kill Hamlet, the most important of which are the facts that Hamlet killed Polonius, Laertes' father, and indirectly led to Ophelia, Laertes' sister, committing suicide. So the excerpt above talks about their future duel in which Hamlet says he would kill Laertes in only three hits.
