Not all people who like metal or a sub genre of rock or metal hate pop music or other genres. Yes, there are some people that only stick to one genre and don't care for anything else. But not all. I, for example love different genres of music. Growing up I listened to pop then got into metal, but now I like to keep my options open and I listen to just about anything. I have my top genres that I mainly listen to but I don't hate any other genres. I've only met maybe 2 people that listen to only one genre. And 1 that hates anything but that one genre. But again, that's only 1 or 2 people I've met. So yes, there are a few people, but not all. So please don't assume all metal fans hate pop music.
