Ket [755]

Answer:

1)why it happened?

=>Inspired by Fang and other 'people-power' movements around the world, in December 1986, student demonstrators staged protests against the slow pace of reform. The issues were wide-ranging, and included demands for economic liberalization, democracy, and rule of law

2)how?

=>Organized by the Union on April 27, some 50,000–100,000 students from all Beijing universities marched through the streets of the capital to Tiananmen Square, breaking through lines set up by police, and receiving widespread public support along the way, particularly from factory workers.

=>Considered a watershed event, the protests set the limits on political expression in China up to the present day. Its memory is widely associated with questioning the legitimacy of Communist Party rule and remains one of the most sensitive and most widely censored topics in China.

What did Woodrow Wilson hope his Fourteen Points would accomplish?
Yanka [14]
He wanted to create a 'League of Nations' which would be a coalition of many nations (Germany was banned from being a part of it since they were blamed for causing WW1) that would help to prevent any future wars. This was Wilson's main goal. However, since there was a lot of partisan feeling, and being involved in the League would take away the power that Congress had to declare war, Congress ended up voting against joining the League.

How did japans geography influence its inhabitant
Anton [14]

Japan is an island country. The islands composing Japan are mountainous and forested. Its geography had influenced the culture and society of its inhabitants in many ways. The east is of relatively mild winters, permitting a heavier population. The rainy season that ends at the last of June is followed by hot summers, fundamental for Japan´s typical food cultivation of rice.

Which statement about the qur'an is true?
gogolik [260]

The answer is C.

I got this answer by the process of elimination. Not A - Because it is a holy book consisting of the words of God (or Allah) that were revealed to Muhammad in a cave. Not B- The Quran is known for being written in only one language--that's Arabic (translations may be done in different languages, but a Quran itself will always be in the Arabic language.) Not D - Muslims constantly follow the Quran because it is their holy book, much like a Christian with the Bible or a Jew with the Torah.

Hope this helped!
