Answer:

C. Series of religious revivals that swept the American colonies in the 1730s

Explanation:

The First Great Awakening or The Great Awakening was a movement of Christian revitalization that spread through Protestant Europe and British America, and especially the North American colonies in the 1730s and 1740s, leaving a permanent impact on American religion. It was the result of powerful preaching that gave listeners a sense of personal revelation of their need for salvation through Jesus Christ. Departing from rituals and ceremonies, the Great Awakening comprises an intensely personal Christianity for the common person by fostering a deep sense of spiritual conviction and redemption, and by fostering introspection and commitment to a new norm of morality personal.

The passage of that law marked a turning point in the civil rights movement?
nekit [7.7K]
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 marked a huge turning point in the Civil Rights movement. This law made it so that employers could not discriminate against candidates based on race, gender, religion, or birth place. This law helped to ensure that African-Americans would be able to be judged based on their qualifications/skills rather than their skin color. Any employer who broke this law could face federal charges.

How were the Southern and Northern Economies different?
dexar [7]

If we are referring to the United States at the time not long before the Civil War...

One important difference between both economies is that the South was economically dependent on slaves. The southern climate was the perfect place to grow crops, and plantations started relying on the labor of slaves to properly treat the crops.

The North, however, was rapidly industrializing. It relied more on factories and other forms of industrialization than farms and slaves.
