I strongly believe that schools should offer classes that currently are not offering.

The big problem in our education system it is that it is becoming old-fashioned and it is boring for many students, because It hasn't created new interesting topics. It seems that we are stuck in the loop of the same list of subjects. If we follow the same unsuccessful formula, we will have the same terrible results.

We have to work very hard on improving the creativity of our students. In this way, we will open new doors for sudents that want to try something new. Because of that, we need to offer foreign languages courses that immerse individuals in other cultures or Foreign Arts courses that would change our students perspectives.

These courses could promote tolerance and make our students think that they are citizens of the world instead of having a narrow point of view. Multicultural studies would make students to be pluralistic and they would also understand the world in a better way.

What made the korean war particularly tragic? support your argument with a quote from the text. explain what your quote shows an
Lostsunrise [7]

Answer:

The Korean War, framed in the global context of the Cold War, was a war between the two newly created factions of North Korea, communist and supported by the USSR and China, and South Korea, democratic and supported by the United States and the western block.

This war began in 1950, when after months of tension the North attacked and took over much of South Korea. But the United States jumped in and pushed the North Koreans back to the Chinese border. Then China got involved and pushed the Americans and South Koreans back.

The communist forces took the democratics to the extreme south of the Korean peninsula, where after the battle of Incheon the latter began an advance to the north. This advance ended at the 38th parallel, where the war turned into a trench warfare without noticeable territorial movements.

This situation lasted until 1953, when a ceasefire was signed between the two Koreas. This ceasefire implied the constitution of two independent nations among themselves: North Korea and South Korea.

1. On page 53, Vonnegut uses the scene of Billy’s capture by German soldiers to develop another aspect of the protagonist’s char
mart [117]

One aspect of Billy's character is the fact that he has incidents of "time shifting" recurrently.  For example, he could see his whole life from beginning to end in one "sweep".

In the chapter when Billy is transported to a camp in Germany, he and the other prisoners are taken to a feast by some English officers who were captured earlier in the war.  Billy gets a shot of morphine that sends him time-tripping again.  His mind was very likely to feel this sensations when some sudden circumstances appear.

in of Mice and men how do characters respond to discrimination, and how does it affect their lives, and the outcome of the story
kakasveta [241]
The characters know their place and because of this is makes them live sad lives because they want more than they can get. The outcome of the story is sad and Lennie shouldn't have died but there was no better option.
