At first, the Native Americans thought that the settlers were invaders and the Natives would often attack their crops or farms. It wasn't near as bad as what the colonists did to the Natives later, but it was still troublesome. Many natives however did not hate the settlers and even helped them. Due to such help people now celebrate Thanksgiving. Later, colonists started expanding and the rest is history.

There was never the least attention paid to what was cut up for sausage; there would come all the way back from Europe old sausage that had been rejected, and that was moldy and white—it would be dosed with borax and glycerine, and dumped into the hoppers, and made over again for home consumption.
"C. The need for free and compulsory education decreased" is incorrect. Even though the industrial revolution was going on people still needed free education.
