The cell phone is present in every single public school classroom today--whether welcome or not. Teachers today should stop tryi

ng to fight against the hidden cell phone and instead focus on how the cell phone can be used as an educational tool to help students learn. Both the iTunes store and Google Play are filled with apps that are educational in nature, free to download, and fun to use. Even twitter can keep a discussion going for hours after the face-to-face discussion has ended. Which is the best concluding sentence for this paragraph? A) Teachers should make their cell phone enemy into an ally to help make their classrooms come to life. B) Technology today can do so many amazing things and so many of them are useful for educational purposes. C) On the other hand, cell phones are also extremely distracting and probably are best left outside of the classroom. D) Another item of technology that teachers should not be afraid to use in their classrooms are computer tablets and laptop carts.

Answer:

On other hand, cell phones are also extremely distracting and probably are best left outside of classroom.

Explanation:

To explain the growth of Technology today, especially among the young generation is simply vast. A 10 year old is given the phone to keep the child from whining the busy parent, and by the age 13, every kid carries an phone. In such cases, the use of cell phones by young children are assumed to be left alone as a remedy. Which is not the right thing to do, because classroom is the only place where students get to have a proper connection with one another without the use of a gadget.

Educomp and other facilities which are already enough educational tools, the allowance of use of cell phones in class even for the good purpose is a freedom for an individual to face more danger in life and also not know the value of it. After all, knowledge is not the only key to success.

On other hand, cell phones are also extremely distracting and probably are best left outside of classroom.

Firdavs [7]

Explanation:

Interesting in<em> “Speech to the Second Virginia Convention”</em> by Patrick Henry we note his use of figurative language to buttress his point and to compel his listening audience. He said emphatically, <em>"We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts." </em>

Meanwhile, Ellen Sirleaf Johnson uses similar figurative language used by Henry, depicting the inaction of the world's government as a form of keep silent. She said,

<em>"the call for the reform of the United Nations...rings louder in its definite silence.. we urge the nations of the world...to bring this long silence to an end."</em>

lines 174-185 explain the irony in the statement that the irish "stay at home on purpose to deliver the kingdom to the pretender
GaryK [48]

By these words, which are part of Johathan's Swift's "A Modest Proposal" (1729), the author is referring to the claim to the throne of England, Ireland and Scotland by James Francis Edward Stuart, son of King James II. The latter was a Catholic King, who had already fathered a daughter named Mary; until James Francis Edward's birth, Mary, who had been raised as a Protestant, was the legitimate heiress to the English throne. James Francis Edward was a Catholic. The English Protestants were reluctant to have a Catholic king, as they did not wish to be under the political influence of the Pope. Therefore, they rebelled against James II, whom they overthrew. Mary and her husband William of Orange then became Protestant Queen and King of England, Ireland and Scotland. Ireland is the "home" to which Swift refers in this statement. Since the Irish were and are Catholic, they wished to help James Francis Edward Stuart regain his position as heir to the British, Irish and Scottish crown. Swift contrasts these irish men with those Protestants who would rather leave England than pay taxes to a Catholic king.

James Francis Edward's attempts to regain the crown were unsuccessful.
