He is worried that if her reputation is known to be as a “witch” then the townspeople will fear for their lives and kill Abigail if they suspect any dark magic. Plus she’ll either be kicked out of her town and force to fend for herself or the other kids would exclude her out but most importantly he is worried they’ll kill Abigail if the higher ups believe she is a witch.

One fact that I found out during my research was that some cells have the ability to move their flowers in the direction of the Sun while others do not. Sunflower and other flowers which belong to the family Asteraceae show such kind of behaviour. These flowers might have a random orientation at night. But at the time of morning, they turn east towards the sun and follow its direction throughout the day.
