There are several methods of gene editing, including ________, the most widely used method.
djyliett [7]

There are several methods of gene editing, including CRISPR-Cas9 the most widely used method.

One of the most popular methods of gene editing currently is the use of CRISPR/Cas9.Genome editing relies on the production of site-specific double-strand DNA breaks (DSBs) and the subsequent endogenous repair through the error-prone non-homologous end-joining (NHEJ) or the error-free homology-directed repair (HDR) pathways.

CRISPR/Cas9 is a technique that allows for the highly specific and rapid modification of DNA in a genome, the complete set of genetic instructions in an organism. In comparison to other technologies CRISPR/Cas9 is reliable Due to the RNA-based nature of the system, CRISPR is the most flexible, scalable, and user-friendly of the gene-editing platforms.

Choose a plant tissue. Write an explanation of how that tissue’s structure relates to its function. Be specific and detailed.
yawa3891 [41]
There are two types of plant tissues: meristematic tissue found in plant regions of continuous cell division and growth, and permanent (or non-meristematic) tissue consisting of cells that are no longer actively dividing.Meristems produce cells that differentiate into three secondary tissue types: dermal tissue which covers and protects the plant, vascular tissue which transports water, minerals, and sugars and ground tissue which serves as a site for photosynthesis, supports vascular tissue, and stores nutrients.Vascular tissue is made of xylem tissue which transports water and nutrients from the roots to different parts of the plant and phloem tissue which transports organic compounds from the site of photosynthesis to other parts of the plant. The xylem and phloem always lie next to each other forming a structure called a vascular bundle in stems and a vascular stele or vascular cylinder in roots.Parts of the shoot system include the vegetative parts, such as the leaves and the stems, and the reproductive parts, such as the flowers and fruits.

How can the environment affect population sizes?
Alex73 [517]

Food, water, shelter, predation, and density are all things that can allow a population to increase or cause it to decrease. Limiting factors like food and water are necessary resources for all organisms without them they will die so these factors directly affect any population size. Hope this helps :)
