I believe it would be 6m^2 because if she increased the size of all sides by .5 then that would make it 1.5 to each side and 1.5*4 because i assume the garden is a square then you would have 6m^2

So last year each of her side lengths were 1m. This year she wants to increase the 1m by 50%. To do that you convert 50% into a decimal which is 0.5. Then you find 50% of 1 and add the result to 1m.

0.5 x 1 = 0.5
0.5 + 1 = 1.5 m

Next you find the new area:
1.5 x 1.5 = 2.25 m^2

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Her angle of depression is the same measure as the angle of inclination inside the triangle. That's the base angle that is not the right angle. The height of the triangle is the 10,000 feet she is up in the air, and the reference angle is 20, and we are looking for the measure of the base of this right triangle. The trig ratio that uses the side opposite over the side adjacent is the tangent ratio:

tan(20)=\frac{10000}{x} and

x=\frac{10000}{tan20} so

x = 27474.77 feet

Answer:

c= -1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's solve your equation step-by-step.

4 /3 = −6c − 5/ 3

Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.

4 /3 =−6c + −5 /3

Step 2: Flip the equation.

−6c + −5 /3 = 4/3

Step 3: Add 5/3 to both sides.

−6c + −5 /3 + 5 /3 = 4/3 + 5 /3 −6c

=3

Step 4: Divide both sides by -6.

−6c −6 = 3 − 6 c = −1 /2
