I tried many times to solve this question: Joy makes 6,5 litres soup correct to the nearest 0.5 litres. She serves the soup in 2

80ml portions correct to the nearest 10ml. 22 people order this soup. Does joy definitely has enough soup to serve the 22 people. show how you decide Your final line must be written as joy definitely does have enough soup or joy may not have enough soup. If you can please explain it if not just give the answer.

Joy makes 6.5 litres soup correct to the nearest 0.5 litres. She serves the soup in 280ml portions correct to the nearest 10ml. 22 people order this soup. Does joy definitely has enough soup to serve the 22 people.

Answer:

Yes, Joy definitely does has enough soup

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question, we know,

Joy make 6.5 litres of soup

Serves it in 280ml portions

Step 1

We convert the portions to liters

1 ml = 0.001 litre

280 ml

= 280ml × 0.001 litre/1 ml

= 0.28litre

Step 2

We divide 6.5 liters by 0.28 to find out how many people can be served

= 6.5 ÷ 0.28

= 23.2142857143 people

We can see that 6.5 liters soup can serve 23 people approximately.

Therefore, Yes, Joy definitely does has enough soup to serve 22 people

Answer:

In ∆ABD and ∆ACD

<BAD =<CAD ( each are half of <A )

<D=<D ( each equal to 90°)

AD = AD ( common)

So ∆ ABD is congruent to ∆ ACD.

Then AB =AC (by C.P.C.T)

Hence,∆ABC is an iso - sceles triangle.

Indicate the answer choice that best completes the statement or answers
zysi [14]

Answer:

Option D. y = 5x + 1

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question given above, the following data were:

Input (x) >>>>>> Output (y)

0 >>>>>>>>>>>> 1

1 >>>>>>>>>>>> 6

2 >>>>>>>>>>>> 11

3 >>>>>>>>>>>> 16

4 >>>>>>>>>>>> 21

To know the the correct answer to the question, we shall apply the equation given in each option to see which will satisfy the table. This can be obtained as follow:

For Option a

y = 3x + 3

x = 0

y = 3(0) + 3

y = 0 + 3

y = 0

y = 3x + 3

x = 1

y = 3(1) + 3

y = 3 + 3

y = 6

For Option b

y = 5x – 4

x = 0

y = 5(0) – 4

y = 0 – 4

y = – 4

y = 5x – 4

x = 1

y = 5(1) – 4

y = 5 – 4

y = 1

For Option c

y = 10x – 9

x = 0

y = 10(0) – 9

y = 0 – 9

y = – 9

y = 10x – 9

x = 1

y = 10(1) – 9

y = 10 – 9

y = 1

For Option d

y = 5x + 1

x = 0

y = 5(0) + 1

y = 0 + 1

y = 1

y = 5x + 1

x = 1

y = 5(1) + 1

y = 5 + 1

y = 6

From the illustrations made above, only option d satisfy the table. Thus, option d gives the correct answer to the question.
