Why does the poet want to go away from his beloved
yulyashka [42]

I inferred you're referring to the story "Sweetest Love, I Do Not Goe" by John Donne

Answer:

The speaker wants to go away from his beloved as a "test run" for the separation they will experience at death.

Explanation:

In this story piece, it is strongly believed that the speaker goes away in other to experience what was to come– their death.

Remember also, that they will not die at the same time, so test running their separation now would prepare them for a time when one of them will be left alive and alone.

Hey pls say me the reported speech
Masteriza [31]

We can change the sentences from direct speech into indirect or reported speech in the following manner:

 1. I suggested going and playing then.
 2. He told me to go back home soon because it might rain.
 3. She said that the movie had been boring.
 4. They told us that everyone could join them for the picnic.
 5. John said it was frustrating that the WiFi was so slow that day.
 6. Chan asked if that wasn't boring to do.
 7. Mom told Eva it was time she started studying.
 8. Our teacher said it was important to wake up on time on school days.

What is direct speech?

 • We have direct speech when we tell others what someone said using that person's exact words. To differentiate between speakers in the sentence, we use quotation marks.
 • An example of direct speech is: Tina said, "I don't think we can make it."

What is indirect speech?

 • We have indirect speech when we use our own words to tell others what someone said. Here, no quotation marks are used. Also, changes are made to the sentence:
 1. Verb tenses are used in the past form of the original ones.
 2. Subjects are adapted to show who said what.
 3. Time expressions also change to the past. For example: today - that day; now - then.

 • Let's take the example above again: Tina said, "I don't think we can make it." If we change it into indirect speech, it becomes: Tina said she didn't think they could make it.

What is the correct way to punctuate this sentence?
valina [46]

The way to punctuate this sentence will be A. I felt so bad for ruining Joan's book; by accidentally dropping it in the pool—that I bought her a brand new copy.

What is punctuation?

Punctuation adds silent intonation to our work. Using a comma, a period, an exclamation point, or a question mark, we can pause, stop, stress, or ask a question. Writing is more precise and clear when punctuation is used correctly because it enables the writer to pause, stop, or emphasize specific sentences or clauses.

In this case, the way to punctuate this sentence will be that I felt so bad for ruining Joan's book; by accidentally dropping it in the pool—that I bought her a brand new copy. The comma is a punctuation mark that divides elements of a phrase and symbolizes a brief pause.
