lauryn’s doll co. had ebit last year of $45 million, which is net of a depreciation expense of $4.5 million. in addition, lauryn
dem82 [27]

If Lauryn's has a reported equity beta of 1.5, a debt-to-equity ratio of .3, and a tax rate of 21 percent.. The Free Cash Flow (FCF) of Lauryn's for the year is 20.45

FCF = (EBIT -Depreciation)× ( 1- Tax rate) + Depreciation - Capital expenditure - Working Capital investment = (45 -4.5 ) × ( 1 - 40%) + 4.5 - 4.25 -4.1 = 20.45

Beta Asset = Beta Equity /( 1 + (1-tax rate)×D/E) = 1.5/( 1 + ( 1-40%)× 0.3) = 1.2712

According To Capm WACC = Risk free rate + Betaasset × Market Risk Premium = 4% + 1.2712 × 12% = 19.2544%

Value of The firm = FCFF × ( 1+growth)/(Return - Growth) = 20.45 × 1.02/(19.2544% - 2%) = 120.89 million

 • Free cash flow (FCF) is the money a business makes after subtracting the cash it must spend to run its business and maintain its capital assets. Or to put it another way, free cash flow is the money that remains after a business pays its operating expenses (OpEx) and capital expenditures (CapEx).
 • A corporation may do whatever it wants with FCF, which is the money that is left over after paying for expenses like labor, rent, and taxes. A company's cash management will be aided by knowing how to compute and analyze free cash flow. Investors can improve their investment choices by using the FCF calculation to get insight into a company's financials.

As a manager for a company that is looking to expand to China, what should your company focus on?
egoroff_w [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "A": Building relationships with suppliers and business partners.

Explanation:

For a manufacturing company that is interested to start businesses abroad, it is important to find out if the operations processes can be carried out at least under the same characteristics as in the country of the firm's origin. Managers must analyze if all the components of their supply chain are likely to be found in the new region. Besides, managers should look for local business partnerships that will help the association adapt to the new market easier.

Kryger [21]

Answer:

price earning ratio = 19.44 times

so correct option is c. 19.44

Explanation:

given data

net income = $103,000

common stock outstanding beginning = 38,000 shares

common stock outstanding ending = 44,000 shares

preferred stock outstanding = 5,000 shares

paid preferred dividends = $29,000

common stock = $35.00 per share

market price preferred stock = $55.00 per share

to find out

Lark's price earnings ratio

solution

first we get here average no of equity share that is

average no of equity share = common stock outstanding beginning + common stock outstanding ending ÷ 2

average no of equity share = \frac{38000+44000}{2}

average no of equity share = 41000 share

and

earning per share will be here as

earning per share = ( net income - paid preferred dividends ) ÷ average no of equity share

earning per share = \frac{103000-29000}{41000}

earning per share = $1.80

so here price earning ratio will be as

price earning ratio = \frac{market\ price\ common\ share}{earning\ per\ share}

price earning ratio = \frac{35}{1.80}

price earning ratio = 19.44 times

so correct option is c. 19.44
