Answer:

2 right triangles are connected at one side. The triangles have 1 congruent side and 2 congruent angles. The second triangle is a reflection of the first triangle.

PR and PS are tangent to center Q. Find the measurement of angle Q
iVinArrow [24]
Segment PQ bisects the angle P, which means angle QPR has a measure of 21 degrees (which follows from the fact that triangles PQR and PQS are congruent and PR and PS are tangent to the circle).

This then means angle RQP has measure 90 - 21 = 69 degrees.

Angle Q is twice this, so it has measure 138 degrees.

Can someone plz solve for A&B? Plz and if you do thank you so much :)
Anna71 [15]

Answer:

Part a-

area= 35

perimeter= 31

part b-

area= 25

perimeter= 18

Step-by-step explanation:

to find the area of a triangle you multiply 1/2Bh

so for part A:

A= \frac{1}{2} (10)(7) (honestly, you can just input the whole equation into the calculator)

A=(5)(7)

A= 35

and for part B:

A= \frac{1}{2}(8.34)(6)

A= (4.17)(6)

A=25.02 (or just 25)

THEN, to find the perimeter you add up all of the sides

so for part A:

P= 14 + 10 + 7 = 31

and for part B:

P= 4 \frac{1}{3} + 8 \frac{1}{3}  + 5 \frac{1}{3} = 17 \frac{3}{3} or 18

I hope this helps :)

If the pressure inside a rubber balloon is 1500 mmHg, what is this pressure in pounds-force per square inch (psi)? Answer: 29.0
madreJ [45]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

You already have the answer.

1 [at] = 760 [mmHg]

1 [at] = 14,7 [psi]

1500 [mmHg] * 1 [at] / 760 [mmHg] * 14,7 [psi] / 1 [at] = 29.0 [psi]

2 units.

Since a triangle is basically a rectangle split in half, we just use the dimensions of the triangle without dividing by 2.

Jones can paint a car in 8 hours. Smith can paint the same car in 6 hours. They start to paint the car together. After 2 hours,
Volgvan
Jones takes 8 hours , therefore in one hour he paints a fraction of 1/8
smith takes 6 hours, thus in one hour he paints a fraction of 1/6
When working together they paint a fraction of 7/24 in an hour.
After 2 hours they will have painted a fraction of (7/24) ×2 = 7/12
The remainder will be 5/12 which will be undertake by smith alone.
Smith will therefore take 5/12 ×6/1 = 2.5 hour or 2 hours 30 minutes
