For the answer to the question above, the similarities between a stage and film version of a drama is that both require the viewer to infer characters’ emotions and motivations through the actors’ portrayals. Since people cannot read the script to feel the emotions, it is the actors’ responsibility to portray it well.

Answer:

"Both require the viewer to infer characters' emotions and motivations through the actors' portrayals."

Explanation:

With reading a play or story, you are able to differ everything based on what imagery goes on in your own mind. This is why more people like reading over watching or listening. Their voice and such are not set in stone. With stage acts and movies, everything that they do is set in stone, and nothing can be changed unless they redo the entire movie.

This is a free response question right? I would suggest maybe watching some videos about this guy because my brother had the same question (he's in k12) and the videos should really help. its ok if you didn't read the book. Elie Wiesel is a surviver of the horrible holocaust that took place wiping out millions of Jews. He's said himself in some interviews that he believes staying silent isnt the right thing to do. just watch a few vids about him and you should be about to easily answer this question. Hope I helped:)
