The two most unusual pharaohs of ancient Egypt were:

Ramses II: He was the oldest pharaoh, ruled for 66 years, had more than 100 children and was dedicated to wars and to build many monuments such as the Ramesseum in the Valley of the Kings.

Cleopatra VII: She ruled Egypt being a woman for 21 years fought  against Rome was well known and at the time of losing against Octavius Augustus decided to commit suicide with a snake bite.
