Someone who is a quadriplegic, who has suffered a spinal injury that leaves them without use of their arms would need a straw to drink. This can also include people with Muscular Dystrophy and diseases like Parkinson’s, where they lose control of motor function and suffer from tremors. In fact, this is one of the reasons that people with disabilities are objecting to the straw bans, since they need plastic straws that can remain in liquid without dissolving.

What form of characterization is most often used in drama?
Natali5045456 [20]

The correct answer is:

Indirect characterization

Indirect characterization is the process how the writer shows the personality of the characters indirectly, not indicating explicitly which actor represents the character, but through speech, actions and appearance. Drama plays usually don't have a narrator describing each character, so the audience has to gather the type of person the character is based on their behaviour.

The words of three syllables and stress them correctly
Leviafan [203]

Syllables and stress are two of the main areas of spoken language. Pronouncing words with the stress on the correct syllables will help you improve your spoken English, make your sentences easier to understand and help you sound more like a native speaker.

English syllables are stress-timed. English is classed as a ‘stress-based’ language, which means the meanings of words can be altered significantly by a change in stress. This is why it is important to learn how to use word stress in English and develop an understanding of sentence stress and English stress patterns.
