Answer:

He has to translate 5-units vertically and 5-units horizontally.

Step-by-step explanation:

This room has scratch marks on the floor. Tyler wants to slide the rug over to cover the scratch marks.

So Tyler has to first translate 5 units to the right and than 5 units upward to cover the scratch.

since for the x-points he has to change his range from 2-4  to  7-9

and for the y-points he has to change his range from 1-4  to  6-9.

i.e. he has to translate his figure 5 units horizontally and 5-units vertically.

i.e. if it is represented by some function f(x).

then the translation is:

f'=f(x-5)+5

What is the value of 26+5-4*3
MatroZZZ [7]

You have to use PEMDAS (Parentheses Exponents Multiplication/Division Addition/Subtraction) to solve this,

Because you don't have any parenthesis or exponents you start with Multiplication/Division. This means you do 4*3 to get 26+5-12

Then, you move to Addition/Subtraction in which you complete left to right, So you do 26+5 to get 31-12

Finally you subtract 31-12 to get 19
