Zarrin [17]

Answer:

When the side of the earth that faces the moon experiences a high tide, the side of the earth that is opposite from the moon will have a high tide.

Explanation:

During the rotation of Earth , moon pulls the Earth , since it is close to Earth .

As moon pulls Earth , it also pulls the water in the oceans , and water can move quite easily and the ocean's water tries to bulge towards the direction of the moon . This process is known as tidal force .

Due to this tidal force , some portion of the ocean will bulge out , and this bulge is referred to as high tide.

How is latitude measured?
NeX [460]

Lines of latitude measure north-south position between the poles. The equator is defined as 0 degrees, the North Pole is 90 degrees north, and the South Pole is 90 degrees south. Lines of latitude are all parallel to each other, thus they are often referred to as parallels. Your latitude can be calculated by measuring the angle of the sun.
