For this problem, you would want to subtract 6 to be able to single out the y. We flip the sign since it is being moved on to the other side.

Therefore, you should have the following.

-6x + 8 = 1y

1y is the same thing as y, therefore the final answer would be:

y = -6x + 8

Note: This type of equation is called a slope intercept form, the coefficient of x represents the slope and the number following it represents the y-intercept which both are graphed.

A group fitness gym classifies its fitness class attendees by class type and member status. The marketing team has gathered data
PilotLPTM [1.2K]

The probability that a class attendee is a non-member of the gym and is attending a barre class or is a member of the gym and is attending a boot camp class is 0.009.

What is the probability?

Probability refers to a possibility that deals with the occurrence of random events.

The marketing team has gathered data from a random month, in which there were 2039 class attendees.

The probability that a class attendee is a non-member of the gym and is attending a barre class

= 185/2039

= 0.09

The probability that a class attendee is a member of the gym and is attending a boot camp class

= 204/2039

= 0.10004

The probability for both the event would be

= 0.09 x 0.10004

= 0.009

How is the graph of g(x) = (x - 6)³ related to the
Soloha48 [4]

Answer:

B. )The graph of g(x) is a translation of the graph of f(x) right 6 units.

Step-by-step explanation:

When a positive number is directly added to an "x" variable (usually inside of parentheses), the graph is shifted to the left that many units.

When a negative number is directly added to an "x" variable, the graph is shifted to the right that many units.

A graph shifts up or down when a positive or negative number is added to the overall function. For example, if the -6 were outside of the parentheses, the graph would be translated 6 units downwards.
