es Qian 150 seconds to run around the track. Marissa, who is running in the opposite direction as Qian, meets Qian every 60 seconds. Chantel, who is running in the same direction as Marissa, passes Marissa every 300 seconds. How often does Chantel meet Qian?

It takes 150 seconds for Qian to complete the track.

Let she runs the track in the clockwise direction.

In 60 seconds, she runs \frac{60}{150} = \frac{2}{5}th of the track.

Since she meets Marissa, who is running in the opposite (counter clockwise) direction in every 60 seconds, Marissa should have completed \frac{3}{5}th of the track.

Chantel meets Marissa in every 300 seconds.

So, in 60 seconds, she advances Marissa by \frac{1}{5}th of the track.

Hence, in 300 seconds, Qian, Marissa and Chantel all meets at the starting point.

ALITER;

Marissa meets Qian in every 60 seconds.

So, Marissa and Qian meet each other in 60th, 120th, 180th, 240th and 300th second.

But, it is given that Chantel meets Marissa in every 300 seconds.

So, in 300 seconds, Qian, Marissa and Chantel meet each other.

How many different triangles can you make with the following conditions: angles measuring 45 degrees and 90 degrees and an INCLU
kotykmax [81]

Answer:

One

Step-by-step explanation:

Clearly, one triangle can be constructed as the angles 45 and 90 do not exceed 180 degrees. (so "None" is not correct)

To show that only one such triangle exists, you can apply the Angle-Side-Angle theorem for congruence.

Since one triangle can be constructed, it remains to be shown that no additional triangle that is not congruent to the first one can be created: I will use proof by contradiction. Let a triangle ABC be constructed with two angles 45 and 90 degree and one included side of length 1 inch. Suppose, I now construct a second triangle that is different from the first one but still has the same two angles and included side. By applying the ASA theorem which states that two triangles with same two angles and one side included are congruent, I must conclude that my triangle is congruent to the first one. This is a contradiction, hence my original claim could not have been true. Therefore, there is no way to construct any additional triangle that would not be congruent with the first one, and only one such triangle exists.

What is the equation in point-slope form of the line passing through (−2, 0) and (2, 8)? (1 point) y = 2(x + 2) y = 2(x − 2) y =
Sonja [21]

Answer: y=2(x+2)

Step-by-step explanation:

The slope of the line is

y=\frac{8-0}{2-(-2)}=\frac{8}{4}=2

Using the point (-2, 0) to substitute into point-slope form, we get the equation to be \boxed{y=2(x+2)}
