Sharecropping<span> is a form of agriculture in which a landowner allows a tenant to use the land in return for a share of the crops produced on their portion of land (Wikipedia).
So that means workers would be payed with a portion of the food they produce. This would help both groups of people. The workers would get food and the owners would have workers who were motivated.
