The US government reacted by RE-SEATING THEM.
In 1868, the Georgia national assembly which was dominated by republicans expelled their African American members on the ground that office holding was a privilege that was denied to those from a servile background. The expelled legislators led by Turner successfully lobbied the federal government to re-seat them.

What challenge faced by farmers during the late 1800s was caused by overproduction of crops
VladimirAG [237]

Answer:

D- low crop prices

Explanation:

The productivity of American firms increased not only because the sowing area was expanding, but also due to the development of agricultural engineering. As production was well ahead of consumption, farmers' revenue for the products of their labor began to fall. But, at the same time, prices for the transportation and storage of food began to rise.
