Select the correctly punctuated sentence.

English
1 answer:
fomenos4 years ago
8 0

Answer:

It's time for the class to end, but Mr. Johnson doesn't realize that.

Explanation:

The first sentence would be correct because of where the comma is placed. It separates the two clauses. However, the second sentence and third would be correct for the closing punctuation which the first lacked. The third would be reliable for the spelling of "doesn't" as in sentence one, it was spelled without and apostrophe and in sentence 2 it is spelled as "coesn t...". So none of them is correctly punctuated all the way so the sentence above, would be accurate after combining all three sentence choices to form a correctly punctuated sentence.

He came over the hill and through the garden.
Dahasolnce [82]
There are two prepositional phrases here: over the hill is the first one, and the second one is through the garden.
Prepositional phrases, as the name itself says, are phrases which start with a preposition. So in order to find prepositional phrases in a sentence, you first need to locate the prepositions. In the sentence above, the prepositions are over and through, which means that the words which follow them make a phrase with them.

Inspirational/motivational quote and 1 paragraph explaining why it helps inspire/motivate you.
FinnZ [79.3K]

You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

This quote helps motivate me because it helps me realize that I'm actually good at things. I also use this quote to help me get through things when I'm nervous because it makes me think that I can do anything, despite the challenge. This quote has also shown me that I should believe in myself because nothing can stand in my way when I really try my best.
