Answer:

Perimeter = 13.27 unit

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to find the perimeter of the shape given in the figure.

Coordinates of J are ( -3, 4 ) and K are (-1, 6)

Then JK = \sqrt{(x-x')^{2}+(y-y')^{2}}

              = \sqrt{(-3+1)^2+(6-4)^2}

             = \sqrt{4+4}

             = 2\sqrt{2}

Coordinates of K are (-1,6) and for ∠ are (1, 1)

KL = \sqrt{(1+1)^2+(1-6)^2}

     = \sqrt{2^2+5^2}

     = \sqrt{29}

Coordinates of M are (-1, 3) and of ∠ are (1, 1)

∠M = \sqrt{(1+1)^2+(1-3)^2}

      = \sqrt{4+4}

      =  2\sqrt{2}

Coordinates of M are (-1, 3) and J are (-3, 4)

MJ = \sqrt{(-1+3)^2+(3-4)^2}

     =  \sqrt{4+1}

     =  \sqrt{5}

Then perimeter = JK + KL + LM + MJ

                          =  2\sqrt{2} + \sqrt{29} +  2\sqrt{2} +  \sqrt{5}

                         =  4\sqrt{2} +  \sqrt{29}  +  \sqrt{5}

                        = 5.66 + 5.38 + 2.24 = 13.27

In two or more complete sentences, compare the number of x-intercepts in the graph of f(x)=x^2 to the number of x-intercepts in
Ahat [919]
The graph of g(x) = -x^2 is a reflection in the x-axis of the graph of f(x) = x^2. Both graphs have one x-intercept as both graphs have their vertices at the origin, (0,0).

A girl throws a 2 kg rock with a net force of 6 N. What is the acceleration of the rock?
krek1111 [17]
Answer:
acceleration = 3 m/s²

Explanation:
From Newton's second law:
Force = mass * acceleration
We are given that:
Force = 6 Newton
mass = 2  kg

Substitute with the givens in the above equation to get the acceleration as follows:
Force = mass * acceleration
6 = 2 * acceleration
acceleration = 6 / 2 = 3 m/s²

Hope this helps :)
