Dad helped us build a box for him to sleep in. Mom found some soft, clean rags for his bed. We laughed and laughed as we watched Tubby eat and play. As Tubby grew bigger and stronger, our laughter stopped. Tubby scattered Dad's neckties all over the house. He broke Mom's favorite vase. He knocked over Jordan's bike. He treed our cat. He even chewed up all the rolled newspapers I had ready for my paper route. Finally, Dad had to call the game warden to come get Tubby and to return him to the woods where he belonged. We were sad to see him go, but we had learned a valuable lesson. Wild animals do not always make good pets."

Overview: Choose two categories of natural resources (i.e., plants, animals, soil, minerals, air, water, or energy sources). The
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer and Explanation:

1. Natural resources are those things which are found on the Earth without human exertion and they are of two kinds which are as per the following:

Renewable natural resources  :

It is a sort of natural resource which can be utilized over and over and they are not going to end sometime in the not so distant future, for instance, wind, sunlight based vitality, water, plants, etc.

Non-renewable natural resource  :

It is a sort of natural resources which are present in very limited quantity and it will end on someday, for example, Coal, petroleum, minerals, etc.

2. Human beings are mostly depended on natural resources and it makes their life easy and comfortable. Let's see its usages one by one.

Historical: Historically, we depended on the renewable natural resources, for example, plants, animals, water and our life started and ended with this form of natural resources when we were not technically advanced.

Present: Presently, we are more technologically advanced and using various technologies to lead our life and we are using fossil fuels at a greater extent and within 30 to 50 years this non-renewable source is going to end and we need to choose our alternative ways also.

Future potential: The way non-renewable natural resources are declining by our present use, we need to switch to renewable sources which are long lasting as well as eco-friendly and that's why the renewable natural sources would be in more demand in near future.

3. These two categories are inter-related because they both provide the energy requirements of the present time, as well as non-renewable natural resources,  are formed by the help of renewable sources since the long geological process.

4. we are vastly using now-renewable sources like petroleum, coal and renewable natural sources like solar energy, wind for our need for energy requirements
