Even though "Animal Farm" criticizes Stalinist Russia, many of the flaws it points out can be noticed everywhere. We are constantly told we are all equal, that all human beings deserve to be treated with fairness in an unprejudiced manner. But, let's face it, some are "more equal than others".
As a woman, I've been through several moments when sexism was used to diminish me. I've been told plenty of times that I wouldn't understand something related to cars or to measuring houses simply because I was not a man.
