The employees of Pullman Car Company lived in a model town spanning 4000 acres. This town had both the industry as well as the working people living in it. The town had every facility that is necessary for living like the doctor, laundry, variety of shops etc. The restrictions were on drinking alcohol and loitering on the front steps of the buildings.
