Jake has a longer yarn because 1 foot is equivalent to 12 inches
So if Jake has 4 feet long yarn then:
4 x 12 = 48
48 is 44 inches longer than Blair's
It's also because 48 is greater than 4

How to solve derivative of (sin3x)/x using first principle
Leona [35]

\dfrac{d}{dx}(\dfrac{\sin(3x)}{x})

First we must apply the Quotient rule that states,

(\dfrac{f}{g})'=\dfrac{f'g-g'f}{g^2}

This means that our derivative becomes,

\dfrac{\dfrac{d}{dx}(\sin(3x))x-\dfrac{d}{dx}(x)\sin(3x)}{x^2}

Now we need to calculate \dfrac{d}{dx}(\sin(3x)) and \dfrac{d}{dx}(x)

\dfrac{d}{dx}(\sin(3x))=\cos(3x)\cdot3

\dfrac{d}{dx}(x)=1

From here the new equation looks like,

\dfrac{3x\cos(3x)-\sin(3x)}{x^2}

And that is the final result.

Hope this helps.

11. What method can be used to prove these two triangles are congruent?
zubka84 [21]
This would be SAS. If that’s wrong I’m sorry but it’s the only thing that makes sense, the dashes indicate they are the same and then the circle at the point also indicates that they’re the same so you have two sides and one angle that are the same, so it should be SAS.
