C, because the rule for a 30/60/90 triangle if the hypotenuse (the side opposite the 90 degree angle) is 2X, the side opposite the 30 degree angle is X, and the one opposite the 60 degree angle is X times square root of 3 and so if x is opposite the 30 degree, it’ll be y divided by square root of 3. hope this helped!

Solve -364/9-(-102/9)-(182/9)
il63 [147K]

Answer:

-148/3

Step-by-step explanation:

hey, this is a fraction problem

all of these denominators are already the same which makes it really simple :)

okay so first we can make this

-364/9+102/9-182/9

we just have to add the numerators together

-364+102-182=-444

so it would be -444/9

this simplifies to

-148/3

we did that by dividing both the numerator and denominator by 3

-148/3 also equals

-49 1/3

or

-49.3333333333 in decimal form

Solve the inequality: m/2 - 1 > 7 *
miss Akunina [59]

Answer:

m > 16

Step-by-step explanation:

m/2 - 1 > 7

Take the - 1 to the other side so that it becomes positive and adds onto 7 to become 8

m/2 > 7 +1

m > 8 x 2

Multiply both sides by 2 so you would get 8 x 2 to receive 16

m > 16

mario62 [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

LET ORANGES=X

PEARS ARE 3 TIMES =3X

LET CHILDREN=Y

IF WE GIVE 5 ORANGES PER CHILD WE NEED 5Y ORANGES.SO THIS =X

X=5Y........................I

IF WE GIVE 8 PEARS PER CHILD WE NEED 8Y PERARS...THERE ARE STILL 21 PEARS LEFT OUT AFTER THIS THAT IS

8Y+21=3X....................II

SUBSTITUTING FOR X FROM EQN.I..

8Y+21=3*5Y

15Y-8Y=21

7Y=21

Y=3

X==5Y=5*3=15..

SO CHILDREN =3

ORANGES=15

PEARS=3*15=45
