Letter A is the correct answer.

The Treaty of Versailles guilt clause did anger many Germans (Options B and C), which paved the way for someone like Hitler to take power in Germany and lead to the Second World War regardless of the creation of the League of Nations that had as main purpose to prevent another war from taking place( Option D).

Why did the Japanese treat POWs so badly?
olga55 [171]

In pre-WW2 Japanese culture, there existed a strict social hierarchy. One of the lowest things one could do in said hierarchy, is surrender. This was seen as dishonorable, and lowered one’s potion to lower than dogs. Any sign of disobedience and hesitation to the captor by the prisoner was seen as disrespectful, and accordingly.

Answer:

I THINK it should be A

Explanation:

Heres what I found:

During 1989 and 1990, the Berlin Wall came down, borders opened, and free elections ousted Communist regimes everywhere in eastern Europe. In late 1991 the Soviet Union itself dissolved into its component republics. With stunning speed, the Iron Curtain was lifted and the Cold War came to an end.

In your opinion, is taking the law into one's own hands
Svet_ta [14]
The simple answer to your complex question is NO. This is assuming that you live in a country where there are good laws (remember that history is full of bad governments that implemented bad laws) and that law enforcement is effective. Simplisticly, you should only ask yourself this question when your or your families life is being threatened and law enforcement is not around. Your response must still be within the constraints of your laws or you will find yourself in hot water. I'm not even going to try to discuss the ethics and morals that can apply as the situation can vary immensely. Keep it simple - don't operate outside the law, rather fight against unjust laws.
