One problem is sentence length. No examiner wants to mark your exam and immediately get hit in the face with a chunk of words. Separate your paragraphs individually.

However, he still feels the urge to be near his family, which is why he listens to their conversations every night and wants to be near them, even though he knows they can't see him or he will die. This only emphasizes his isolation and loneliness because he has nobody to help him.</span>
