What is the duty of the vice president
stellarik [79]
Hi there!

Great question!

The vice president of the white house authorizes the Senate, and if the Senate is voting and has a tie, the vice president breaks it. One other job the vice president has is if the president dies, then the vice takes his place.

So if Obama died, Joe Biden would take his place. :)

Hope this helps! :D
