And adverb tells you how the verb is done. So for this example I would say in jeans and a plaid shirt because this tells us how Patricia rides above the rangeland of eastern Oregon :)

I would say transitive because the verb bought has a noun after it. Corn, cucumbers and tomatoes are the receiving actions for the verb bought.
