If you are looking for how many DVDs and CDs Satchi can buy then Satchi would be able to buy 2 DVDs and 3 CDs for a cheap price or 3 DVDs and 2 CDs for a more expensive price.

Budget: $45

DVDs: CDs:
$9 $7

Add $9 + $7 = $16
Add again, which would equal $32
You can either buy 2 DVDs and 3 CDs which is $32 + $7 = $39 or 3 DVDs and 2 CDs which is $32 + $9 = $41

the function p(t)=3(e^0.0866t describes how to find the pollution level p(t) in relation to any time t, where t is the number of
ddd [48]

The pollution level in 1980 was 7.13 to the nearest hundredth ⇒ answer c

Step-by-step explanation:

The function p(t)=3(e^{0.0866t}) , where

  • p(t) is the population level at any time t
  • t is the number of years after 1970

We need to find the pollution level in 1980

∵ p(t)=3(e^{0.0866t})

∵ t is the number of years after 1970

∴ t = 1980 - 1970 = 10 years

- Substitute the value of t in the equation above

∴ p(t)=3(e^{0.0866*10})

∴ p(t)=3(e^{0.866})

∴ p(t) = 7.13214 ≅ 7.13 to the nearest hundredth

The pollution level in 1980 was 7.13 to the nearest hundredth

What is 8n-(2n-3)=12 ?
bixtya [17]
Okay luv so let's solve this equation together:
8n-(2n-3)=12
simplify
8n+-1(2n-3)=12
8n+-1(2n)+(-1)(-3)=12
8n+-2n+3=12
(8n+-2n)+(3)=12 Combine like terms
6n+3=12
Then subtract from both sides
6n+3-3=12-3
6n=9
Then divide both sides by 6
6n/6=9/6
so...n=3/2
