Choose one song from the 1960s- to the present day that focuses on a political or social issue. It can be a protest song or a so

You will need to include these lines in your discussion answer. You may want to use a search engine if you need to find lyrics the song or to find a song based on a specific issue. One of the best songs of the sixties that I have heard was “The Times They Are A Changing” by Bob Dylan.  Clearly this song reflects the growing change in attitude among the young during the sixties as if they were now showing their breaking away from the ideals and beliefs of their parents.  How they were now asserting their views for it was their time and they showed during that period in history.

Please I have no clue
guapka [62]

Answer:

She sees herself as less privaleged than her white neighbor. She describes herself as being alone when she talks about no one pulling a chair up beside her when she eats. She describes within the first line on how in her mind it is much more of a difficult standpoint. Towards the end she says these things are only put into play by society when she is in public and put in a white background.

What are some criticisms of the United Nations? Check all that apply.
sveticcg [70]

Answer:

It can be corrupt

It is often ineffective

Explanation:

The biggest criticism towards the United Nations goes for:

- It can be corrupt; there's accusations towards the United Nations very often that it is corrupt, and that it serves mostly in the interest of the United States and the western world in general, and objectively speaking it does look that way more often than not.

- It is often ineffective; there's countless examples of the inefficiency of the United Nations, and lots of those kind of seem like the United Nations don't want to solve. Simple example is the name issue between the Republic of Macedonia and Greece. Even though in the law of the United Nations stands that every country has the right to choose its own name and no one can forbid it, and even though the Republic of Macedonia won in the International court over the issue, Greece is blocking its northern neighbor to get into the organizations like NATO and the EU because they are not allowing the term Macedonia to be included in the name of the country. The United Nations did literally nothing to force Greece to respect the law of the organization which they are obliged to do.

Which ancient civilization is associated with the Twelve Tables, an extensive road system, and the poets Horace and Virgil?
Aloiza [94]
Roman civilization is associated with the Twelve Tables, an extensive road system, and the poets Horace and Virgil. The twelve tables was actually created in order to make a universal law for consistency. These tables were actually created to protect a certain category of people like the plebeians and patricians. These laws actually were made to protect the poor plebeians from whom many rich people wanted to take away all the money. The road system of the Roman Empire was also very extensively created for use of the Romans.
