This is kind of up to your opinion.
 
But if I had a say in it, it'd be that opinions don't matter, but everyone takes them to heart. Good or bad. So if you're walking down the street and you have purple shoes and someone says "Ew. Purple." That obviously shouldn't matter, but it does to a lot of people.
