To fuel physical activity, cells may use ATP and creatine phosphate stored in muscle, or they may rely on glycolysis or the TCA
Novosadov [1.4K]

Answer:

The primary fuel the body uses during a long event of low intensity exercise (like a 4-hour walk) is FAT.

Explanation:

The system that intervenes during low intensity exercise is the AEROBIC SYSTEM.

Whenever someone exercises at a low level intensity, the body uses fat as main energy source while sparing the use of blood glucose and muscle glycogen in case the exercise level of intensity increases and while the oxygen availability decreases.

While training for long periods of time, aerobic capacity expands producing an increase in the oxidation of fats.

The maximal aerobic capacity (VO2max) of an individual regulates the contribution of different fuel sources in a proportional way (muscle glycogen, intramuscular triacylclycerols, glucose and fatty acids).

I hope it helps!

Which of these phenomena are caused by the moon's orbiting around the rotating earth?
avanturin [10]

"Moon is in seen in the sky for roughly 12 hours" phenomena are caused by the moon's orbiting around the rotating earth.

Answer: Option D

Explanation:

Two factors contribute to visibility of the moon at daylight. Firstly, its light is bright enough to penetrate the scattered blue light of the sky. Second, the moon to be visible, must be high enough in the sky.

About 12 hours out of every 24, the moon is above the horizon because of the Earth's rotation. Since those 12 hours almost never overlap in every 24 hours with the average 12 hours of daylight, the average of about 6 hours per day is the possible window to observe the moon in daylight.
